Buddy

Unlock the AI connection, then enable AI replies in My Buddy and save preferences. Type a message and tap the arrow. If AI is not configured, you can still explore settings, memory and backups. No pretend AI replies are used.

Open the deployed app in Safari. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Repeat on iPad. Install from the same URL each time.

Tap the message box, then the microphone on your Apple keyboard. Enable Dictation in iPhone or iPad Settings → General → Keyboard if needed. Availability and processing depend on your device and language. This app has no paid speech service.

The most recent part of the current chat and the memories you add. Older chat messages remain in History but may not be sent to the AI. Saved memory is editable and never silently extracted. Buddy is AI and may forget or get things wrong.

In this browser’s device storage, automatically saved after each change. iPhone, iPad, Safari and a Home Screen installation may have separate storage. They do not sync. Clearing website data or storage eviction can remove chats. Export backups regularly and import them on another device if desired.

On Cloudflare’s Workers Free plan, AI requests stop at the daily allowance. Limits are shared with other AI use on that account. There is no paid fallback. Your message remains saved so you can retry later. The app cannot verify your billing plan itself; deployment requires a confirmed Free plan.

Recent chat context, personality and saved memories are sent to Cloudflare only when AI is enabled and a reply is requested. No analytics, external fonts or third-party scripts are loaded. Saved chats and settings work offline after the first successful load; AI replies need internet. Backups are unencrypted. Buddy has no live web browsing or automatic reminders.

Use Check for app update in My Buddy. It saves your data before refreshing. If a reply is in progress, wait for it to finish. Updates keep local data; backups are still recommended.
